Our apprenticeship program is designed to nurture talent and provide a hands-on, practical grounding in switchgear products, in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Apprentices work on real projects, guided by and learning from our senior team. Apprentices progress through four on-the-job phases and three off-the-job phases in an educational setting via Solas (the State agency tasked with building a world-class Further Education and Training sector). This hybrid structures provides a mix of theory and practical learning.
Once fully qualified as electricians, members of the group have the opportunity to become permanent employees with Capital Switchgear.
This role involves working to deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the Switchgear industry. The Production Operative will report to the Production Supervisor.
