See our roadmap for growth: from 2012 to 2050

You may have noticed: there’s a global boom in data centres. Capital is perfectly positioned to be the trusted provider for global hyperscalers. Our plans our in place, and now we’re moving onwards and upwards.

From our beginnings in 2012 at a 3,750 sq ft facility in Dublin’s Aerodrome Business Park, Capital has grown through continuous investment, strategic expansion and a commitment to engineering excellence. Now we’re pleased to share the next big phase of our growth: grasping the data centre opportunity.

Over the past decade, we’ve evolved rapidly.

We rolled out Sage Line 50 in 2014, adopted SolidWorks 3D design in 2016, achieved ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications in 2018, and implemented SAP Business One in 2019. By 2021, 64% of our output supported the data centre sector, and in 2022, we completed a full rebrand as we positioned the business for its next stage of growth.

Today, Capital is a trusted manufacturer of low voltage switchgear for mission-critical environments in data centres.

Our portfolio spans main and final circuit LV distribution boards, control panels, automatic transfer switches and power distribution units. All our products are engineered and fabricated to exceptional standards of reliability and performance, and produced at speed and scale.

These investments, combined with advancements in MIS systems, EPLAN, sustainability certifications, and employee development, ensure we are ready to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving industry.

People are the power behind Capital. Now a team of just over 100 and projected to grow to 150 by 2027, supporting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Looking to the future, we remain committed to delivering dependable, high-performance switchgear for the world’s most critical applications.
