Sales & Production Administrator

About this role 

The Sales and Production Administrator will report to the Production Manager and play a crucial role in overseeing the coordination between sales, project management and production departments. This role involves working to deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities 
  • Deal with sales enquiries and information requests, liaise with the sales team on the preparation of sales quotes and co-ordinate same to customers
  • Manage and maintain sales and design folders and set up sales orders on SAP B1
  • Coordinate with various departments to maintain smooth workflow and resource availability
  • Support the production manager on all administrative tasks including the preparation of reports for capacity and production planning
  • Provide administrative support in relation to the Quality Management system
  • Maintain accurate production records, including reports on output, defects and efficiency
  • Prepare and analyse reports to identify areas for improvement and optimise production efficiency
  • Co-ordinate deliveries, book couriers, and manage despatch paperwork to include the following up on POD’s
  • Provide office administration support for the production office to include visitors’ sign-in
Requirements
  • Proven track record in business administration, operations administration, engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum 5-year administration experience
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite
  • SAP Business One experience advantageous
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
