Capital Invests in Solar Energy at Dublin Facility
Capital is pleased to announce the installation of a new rooftop solar PV system at our facility, marking another important step in our commitment to sustainability and responsible energy use.
The newly installed array comprises of 76 panels, each rated at 445 watts, delivering a combined system capacity of approximately 33.82 kilowatts. This rooftop installation will reduce our reliance on grid electricity, lower our carbon footprint, and generate clean, renewable energy direct on site.

Based on SEAI guidance that a well-sited 3kW solar PV system in Ireland can generate around 2,600kWh per year, the new installation is estimated to generate approximately 29,300kWh of clean energy annually.
For a business operating at the heart of electrical infrastructure, this project carries particular significance. We design, manufacture, and deliver systems that power critical infrastructure. It is only fitting that our own facility leads by example in how that power is generated.
This project reflects Capital’s broader commitment to building a more sustainable future while maintaining the high standards of engineering and operational excellence that our clients expect.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone involved in delivering this project safely and efficiently.
